The cobus football tournament
On Saturday 8 June 20 teams travelled to Dalfsen to take part in a foot ball tournament organised by Cobus and Fragment. Four Fragment teams turned up: The Truckstars from Vlissingen; the Radboys from the Radstake in Varsseveld, the Heeten 4 De Treffers from er..... Heeten and De keihard Bikkels from the Hotel Witkamp in Laren. It was a beautiful day and great fun, The Radboys finished up runners up, but they was robbed. Everyone had to have at least one girl, a criminal record was optional (a bit like English football). Afterwards, everyone adjourned to the FC Dalfsen clubhouse to eat and drink, and drink some more. The Band Zonder Banaan turned up too and played both music & football (sometimes at the same time - unlike us we were too scared and anyway we did Rugby at school, didn't we? Wot ho?) Cobus compared, everyone got very merry and a splendid time was had by all. Here's page 1 of a photo story dealing with it
